That’s why Age UK Wandsworth is running our Christmas giving campaign, and inviting you to ‘Make Someone Happy’ by writing a Christmas card or donating non-perishable food items and treats that older people may not be able to buy themselves this Winter.  \n\nIf you would like to write a Christmas card and bring joy to an older person who is isolated, please write your card with Christmassy message leaving space for us to add a name.  \n\nYou may prefer to donate non-perishable food stuffs such as tins of soup or fruit, tea bags, pasta, rice, cereals, and long-life milk – all these items are incredibly helpful. Essentials like these can help ensure that older people have enough food for the Christmas period and don’t go without.\n\nChristmas is also about treats that make the season magical, and we’re also asking for donations of socks, chocolate, soap, and other small gifts that can brighten someone’s day.
