Event Description
An article in the July 2014 Journal 'Arts in Psychotherapy' demonstrated the benefits of a 45 min group drumming session on 50 undergraduate & graduate University students. The Quick Mood Scale was used to assess participants pre and post drumming session & compared to a control group. The drumming group's comments indicated that they felt more wide awake, relaxed, cheerful & clear-headed compared to the control group.

If you'd like to experience the benefits of drumming/Sound Healing, come to my Shamanic Meditation & Sound Healing Circle this Wed 3rd July. 7.15pm arrival for a prompt 7.30pm start. Ends 9pm. £7 cash (no card machine I'm afraid!) Address 211A Hamilton Hall, Balham High Rd SW17.

They shut the door at 7.30pm so ring the doorbell if you are late! There is an on-site car park, plus on-street parking.

During the session I'll guide you through deep breathing exercises & visualisations to get you into a deep state of relaxation. Then I'll walk slowly around the Circle, giving you a one-on-one experience of the Tibetan Singing Bowl, Tibetan tingsha's (cymbals), Aboriginal Rainstick & Shamanic Drum.

Come along & meet like-minded friendly people & experience the benefits of a Shamanic Meditation & Sound Healing Circle!
